Igrox Win Gold
Igrox, the UK's leading independent pest management and fumigation company, has won the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Gold Award for 2002. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Award is given to a company that not only reduces the number of accidents and cases of ill-health in the workplace, but also has good health and safety management systems in place.
The RoSPA Gold Award helps to reinforce the message that good health and safety makes good business sense and clearly demonstrates Igrox's commitment to the achievement of high levels of performance in this crucial area. Suffolk based Igrox only became members of RoSPA last year. "We are obviously delighted at this Award coming so soon after becoming members of the Society. When we entered the Awards scheme our aim was to get external verification that we are working in a proactive manner in relation to the health and safety needs of our employees and clients. "Now that we have won the Gold Award at our first attempt we are setting our sights on a higher award next year," commented Mark Braithwaite, Managing Director of Igrox Limited.
The Awards have underlined Igrox's well structured and proactive approach to maintaining high levels of Occupational Health and Safety within all areas of their business. The company has committed significant resources to this proactive style of management and the development of the positive culture that now exists.
