Igrox offers the ultimate timber treatment with Aquatech

Igrox now offers the latest micro-encapsulation technology to deliver a deeper more effective treatment of wet and dry rot. Igrox, one of the carefully selected members of the Association of Accredited Wykamol Users, is using Wykamol Aqua-Tech, a new solvent-free gel concentrate.

Aqua-Tech combines 'state-of-the-art' microemulsion technology with an advanced packaging concept. Aquatech products penetrate timber and masonry surfaces rapidly and effectively. The advanced packaging sachet system removes the risks to operators associated with the handling of concentrated pesticides. As this treatment is virtually solvent-free, one can safely return to the treated areas in as little as one hour.

"We are very happy to be one of a few companies to be selected to use Aqua-Tech. Wykamol's 10 year Research and Development programme for this product and the unique packaging ensures that we are able to place the highly specific active ingredients exactly where we need to. The packaging system also means that the environmental risks associated with the disposal of plastic containers have been totally removed and this has obvious knock-on effects in the reduction of plastic waste by 96% and reducing landfill requirements by 99%," commented Carl Finbow, Contracts Manager, Igrox Property Renovation and Preservation Division.
