Igrox leads the way with Electronic Mouse Detection
Igrox pest management leads the way within an industry ever mindful of environmental and food safety issues. With customers increasingly demanding pest control systems with minimal use of pesticides, Igrox have developed the Electronic Mouse Detection System (eMd).
eMd is of particular interest to food manufacturers and storage facilities who need to comply with increasing demands from food safety accreditation bodies such as AIB.(American Institute of Bakers)
The eMd system combines the use of a humane and recognised mouse trapping station with hi-tech micro-processor communications. A central control panel indicates pest free status by a series of indicator lights. Every few seconds the control panel requests a status update from each trapping station. The traps have their own identity and will respond accordingly. Should a mouse be caught, or a trap triggered, a trap location number will be indicated on the control panel.
Mark Braithwaite, Managing Director of Igrox, comments “With increasing numbers of our customers searching for pesticide-free rodent monitoring and control, eMd is an exciting development. It is simple to maintain and install and the advanced monitoring system is backed by our technically-based conventional pest control service.”
